Class: Photo 2
The goal was to create a PSA with a group. My group consisted of me and my classmate Paola, who is actually in the photo. This idea for the photox was inspired by a band called Porcupine Tree with their album, “Anesthetize.”
This was a PSA for drug addicts and spreading the message to seek help from addiction. The stark and dramatic imagery with the bleak text gives a sense of dread and fear of actually taking drugs, urging the viewer that if they relate to this, they should seek help, provided to them in the PSA itself.
